Our Wildcrafted Irish Sea Moss (Chondrus Crispus) is harvested from the pristine waters of the Irish Sea. This superfood provides four forms of Chondrus crispus, which grows to around 15 cm and the frond is flattened. The tips of a mature specimen have an iridescence and may also curl up, and as it grows, so do the frond branches. This 1lb package is perfect for you to get your daily dose of nutrition and health benefits. 
 
To make Irish Sea Moss Gel:
 
1. Soak 1/2 cup of Irish Sea Moss in a large bowl of cold or warm water for 4-24 hours.
2. Rinse very well.
3. Blend 1 1/2 cups hydrated (soaked) Irish Sea Moss with 3/4 cup water in a high-speed blender.
4. Place in a glass bowl or mason jar in the refrigerator to set up.
 
*3/4 cup dry moss will yield 3 cups-soaked Irish Moss.
 
Irish sea moss gel will last in the refrigerator for at least 1 month or in the freezer for 6 months in small ready-to-use portions.
